This 2,300 sf Arts and Crafts style home and a detached artist’s studio blends into the wooded hillside. This project represents a true collaboration between architect, artist and builder to create an environment to create and showcase art, while gracefully co-existing with its surroundings.
The work of many local artists and artisans is incorporated into the home, including a custom Mahogany front door, platform bed, a leaded glass entry door transom, and a Nakashima fireplace mantle. The house and setting provide a spectacular backdrop to display the owner’s paintings celebrating life in the nearby towns and countryside.
